Return from long hiatus...

So it's been a while since I posted. I'm not sure that I am cut out for blogging, at least not on anything close to a daily basis. It's just too easy to get caught up doing other things.

This looks like a promo-pic for an early 80's sitcom! Am I the only one who finds this utterly ridiculous? You just know Obama is squeezing Berlusconi's ass off-film. And Hu Jintao... get this guy a milk crate or something to stand on.

Still, you have to love these big summits. Not because they accomplish anything whatsoever, other than making it exceedingly clear that the world's leaders are about as adept as the Keystone Cops when it comes to solving anything. But come on; there's something downright hilarious about global ministerial-types getting together for these kinds of meetings. It puts me in mind of the high summit of pirate lords in Pirates of the Caribbean 3:
